Last winter local party enthusiasts THE NUTTY KLUB booked THE GLAMOUR to play at a metal bar called the Albert here in Winnipeg. I know there are better things to talk about other than the weather – uh, like fear mongering propaganda behind every single Republican election campaign, but Milwaukee’s best neon revitalists, THE GLAMOUR, were snowed in and couldn’t make it to the gig. Even without the headliners the event was a bit over the top.
Well, they’re playing at The Pyramid this Friday, July 25. Jason and I are giving away two pairs of tickets on our show THE SHAKE (facebook group). We roll every Friday night from 8-9 on 92.9 KICK FM, and play an aural potluck of electro, robotdisco, mashups, club whathaveyou. You can think of it as a warmup for the evening and maybe win a pair of tickets courtesy of MIKE B.
Otherwise, tickets are $10 at INTO THE MUSIC or MUSIC TRADER or $15 at the door.
