This isn’t exactly Manalogue material but I’ve been a fan of angular rock for a while and since some might call NELSON a disco punk outfit the four piece balances nicely here. They’ve been compared to a slew of acute guitar-based dance acts like Interpol, Tokyo Police Club, and The Rapture. Watch out for these Parisians and the influx of remixes that should flood the blogs in a minute. There’s already a hot remix of “I Say You Can’t Stop” (the song in the video below) from datA on their myspace page.
