I finally started sorting out my records and came across this gem that dates back an entire decade. In a way, finding this 12″ gives me some sort of vindication. You see, it’s proof that my love for remixes runs further than the posts on this blog.

Do you have the Two Lone Swordsmen remix that was on the other side (I think)?

No Two Lone Swordsman remix I’m afraid. There was only the remix posted here and the instrumental on the flip.

I think they used this towards the end of their mix album Brothers Gonna Work It Out from ~1998ish. I always wanted to hear the whole track. There’s a great version of the (non-remixed) song on the Royal Albert Hall live record with a big Gospel Choir. Good find!

the 2 lone swordsmen remix was of the track Come Together, very dubby, there was also a Death in Vegas one i thinks…
I’m a pretty big fan of Spiritualized and i am unaware of any other remixes of this brilliant song!

Yeah, I’ve consulted the files and agree- TLS remix was of Come Together. Been looking for it for ages. The search continues.

The full mix is available on CD on the compilation Plastic Volume 2. Actually quite a good late 90s comp. Has Delirium Silence (Fade rmx), Renegade Master, Brimful of Asha, Water from a Vineleaf, and a good remix of some Crystal Method song.
