This summer DatA dropped “Rapture” which features ex DFA 1979 member Sebastien Grainger on vocals. Shortly after the Parisian producer announced a remix contest for the single. The contest has since closed however looks like some of the results have started to spill over.
Although his people at WEDOITRIGHT haven’t said, it’s likely that WHITE CHOKOLATE was one of the producers who took the Rapture remix challenge. The 25 year-old producer from Greece didn’t stray too far from the orginal 80s synth flava. He adds a deeper bassline which gets slightly crunchier after the hair metal inspired guitar solo and more prominent snare. All in all - the track’s pretty smooth.
