
Here’s a thumpy filtered sweeper from LEHTMOJOE. One of his mates described it as SebastiAn meets Public and I won’t disagree. The track features vocal stabs that skip with the beat, slow acid-like modulation and a kick drum that keeps the tune in perpetual motion.
I’m not exactly sure where the Tom Petty reference comes (perhaps from the vocal sample?). This is one tune from the Dallas native’s forthcoming album.

I think he is saying “tom petty” in the track, kinda hard to pick out. Very hot, very hot indeed.

The samples he’s using are from a few different Pilot songs, most notably “Penny in my Pocket”, but the spliced samples sound like “Tom Petty’s got VD.”
