Lately there’s been a huge resurgence of (UK) garage. It’s a bit weird seeing hipsters bounce to 10-year-old basslines, especially because the genre fell out of fashion quicker than most people could drop a beat. Whatever. Back then, when garage became uncouth, it was largely because of the crusty pikies who listened to it. Now, thanks to dancefloor democracy it’s alright, especially because it’ll make you move.
Here’s the latest remix from Hungary’s TMX who remixes one of YUKSEK’s latest stompers. This re-rub doesn’t stray too far from the original but the rounded and wobbly bassline provides extra motivation for fast feet. Don’t sleep on this one.
