Last week I posted the setlist from the radio show Lotek and I host and produce. In it, there was a remix from PANCE PARTY that I can’t stop listening to. The trio describe themselves as fun at all costs, hyper-absurd, preposterous dance music expressed through innovative sounds, delightfully catchy leads, face-melting bass, and enough raw sonic energy to turn even the most negative Nancy into a raving lunatic on the dance floor. Here are the two remixes the California boys sent. The first cut, “FMIF,” has one of the sexiest wobbles I’ve heard in a long time. It’s big and round and a bit stuttery in places too. Play this one loud, I’m going to. The second track has an equally thick bassline with a melodic strut so bouncy it’ll send your arms flying.
