I was ploughing through my weekly record dig in Montréal when I came across a few jems from my childhood. 3 albums glowing like lighthouses in the black vinyl sea I had been swimming in for the last 2 hours. THE ORB – Live ‘93, UNDERWORLD – Beaucoup Fish, & ORBITAL – Snivilisation. Doing some quick calculations in my head, I realize the horror of my financial situation. I only had enough money for one of the records…
If you’ve got a little extra cash this summer, I suggest you take some time off work and check out UNDERWORLD’s exclusive North American tour, stopping by a city near you:
08/06 – The Joint – Las Vegas, NV
08/07 – Fox Oakland Theater – Oakland, CA
08/08 – Hardfest – Los Angeles, CA <–Looks Pimp!
08/11 – Kool Haus – Toronto, Canada
08/12 – Metropolis – Montréal, Canada
08/14 – Muelle Panamericano – San Juan, Puerto Rico
As a bonus, the band has commissioned developer iZOTOPE with artist JOHN WARWICKER to create a new iDRUM application for your iPhone. This is to celebrate the release of UNDERWORLD entire back catalog on iTunes.

After a 5 year hiatus, ORBITAL are back and will be dropping their distinct flavour of beats at the GET LOADED IN THE PARK on August 30th. I would sell body parts on the black market to get to this festival.

ORBITAL have produced, what I would consider to be, about 4 of my personal favorite albums of all time. Any guesses as to which ones? Brown Album, Snivilisation, In Sides, & Blue Album…

Hi Jack
Fantastic bands and fantastic albums. I saw Underworld twice last year. Once at Bestival which was a rocking festival set and also at the Brixton Academy gig which was more for the true fans, they played for well over 2 hours. Its worth also getting Underworlds Everything Everything the live album. Its probably one of the best live albums ever.
I am off to Camp bestival with the family this weekend. Erol Alkan, Aeroplane, Boyz Noize, Phoenix and others. Lucky me.
