A deadly live mix from DEEKLINE, recorded at Shambhala earlier this year. (Incidentally, the festival started selling tickets for 2012 this year already – I’d suggest grabbing yours on the quick cuz it always sells out.)
Deekline and ED SOLO have a new release out too. It’s a full-on bass assult with remixes from Eddie K & Minus, as well as PYRAMID. First though, here’s a free jazzed-out cut for those groggy Sunday mornings, followed by a video for the single with what appears to be footage from Shambhala!
Here’s one special club version for you. The remix of Beyonce’s ‘Countdown’ by Jack Beats is a major one but it needed a little Top Billin touch with some island horns, drums and whatnot. Here then is the party version from Finland’s TOP BILLIN.

One of the Canadian ghetto funk icons is rolling into Winnipeg again next week. This will be the second time STICKYBUDS has shared his low-end domination. I missed him when he rolled through the last time so needless to say I’m pumped for this show, which is rounded out nicely with some fine locals too. DJ Hunnicutt, Ill Type, and Mollyfi open things up so arrive early and thank BASSFACE ENTERTAINMENT for their fine work.
Sasha recently held a remix contest for his new single ‘CUT ME DOWN’. The contest is now closed, but there were countless entries. Being a huge Sasha fanboy, I’ve listened to a ton of em. Other than the stunning original, this remix from Romania’s Panaitescu Razvan aka DJ Topo, is certainly my favorite.
