Today, I’d like to present to you a stellar EP from one of the hottest, most mysterious producers currently making the rounds on the underground house scene.  CLAPTONE has gained the attention and support of quite a few heavy hitters as of late with the track “Cream”.  Obviously not one to rest on their laurels, the sophomore EP “Night On Fire” [EXPLOITED] is now sure to propel these newcomers into the forefront of House music.

The title track has a somewhat haunting, uptown vibe to it.  And it oozes with such sexiness that you’ll want to take it to the shadowy back corner and make out with it.  But the one that’ll you’ll want to play when the place is at full capacity is the B side “Shook”.  You might recognize the sample of “Shook Ones Part II” by Mobb Deep.

As for Claptone, I gotta wonder…  Is it merely a coincidence and luck that they’ve managed to score a hot single and 2 brilliant EPs back to back?  I have a sneaking suspicion that there might be a well-known and established producer hiding under that freaky long-nosed mask.  And as long as they keep pumping out tracks like these, I’m OK with that…
