A.SKILLZ has let another choice bootleg loose. This time he reworks the classic Lyn Collins track “Think (about it)” famously sampled by Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock. To be expected from one of the patriarchs of ghetto funk, A.Skillz adds some whumph to the low end and takes this soul train to destinations the original creators would only recognize if enlightened with a healthy addiction to bass.

You can also catch A.Skillz live in London on October 6 at Cable Nightclub’s “an evening with Krafty Kuts.” He’s playing along side some Manalogue favourites, including Krafty Kuts (of course), Far Too Loud, Deekline & Ed Solo, and Bobby C Sound. The night looks a bit ridiculous considering it’s double-billed with Featurecast’s “Run For Cover” album launch presented by Jalapeno Records & the team behind GhettoFunk.co.uk.
