In the last post I briefly mentioned FEATURECAST‘s album launch. First though, is a hot bootleg from him. The track itself needs no introduction so start clicking.
Run for Cover was released on September 24 on JALAPENO RECORDS. For the most part, one could lump the 12 tracks from the long player into the broad breaks family. Overall it’s bass heavy and in the mid-tempo / ghetto funk range, with the exception of a pair of drum n bass cuts (Ofelia’s World and Morning Sun). You can stream the entire album on Featurecast’s SoundCloud page and order the cd direct from the fine folks at Jalapeno.
Here are a couple standouts, according to me.
The album has already had a decent run of singles, many of which have made their way into my crates. Since I’ve been absent nearly all summer I thought it would be prudent to point you to them, with some free downloads to boot.
