Borgore and Carnage teamed up once again. This time, they saddle a cinematic tune full of bucking kicks big enough to knock any clown into a barrel. The track introduces itself with some progressive, trance/rave synths which build to a serious drop.
Watch for the official release on Spinnin’ Records on February 4.
Just in time for Halloween, FIGURE’s Monsters Vol 3 hits digital stores through DOOM Music on October 16th, 2012. The follow up to his chart-topping Monsters of Drumstep Vol 1 & 2 releases, this full-length LP mixes up a sub-slaughter potion of gruesome proportions as the essential soundtrack for this spooky season. Monsters Volume 3 is a 15-track of originals spanning the heavy electronic genres and including collaborations with Tommy Lee and Bare as well as remixes from the likes of J.Rabbit, Oscillator Z, Alex Sin, Dr. Ozi, and Phrenik.
To celebrate the release and get a taste of the horror, the original single “Corpse Grinder” is available for free download.
If you’re in Calgary, then you’ve definitely heard about the pK Sound Crew. For the rest of you, pK is responsible for anything that involves BASS within the bulk of western Canada. Their soundsystems have been the backbone of multiple festivals (including Shambhalla) and their custom made speakers have been installed in multiple clubs.
To show their appreciation for all that is BASS, they are throwing a party of epic proportions alongside Rottun and Contagious.

I put on my second newest pair of jeans today – I haven’t worn these in months. You see, I don’t go shopping often so this pair of denim pants are almost a year old and I forgot how tight they are in the legs. Tight jeans are kinda funny for me because I’m a small guy, but I can practically never find jeans that fit properly all over. They’re always too big in the waist and too tight in the thighs. I don’t get it, I’d generally consider myself fit but it’s not like my muscles bulge outa my body or anything.
Oh right, this is a music blog. There is a connection and it’s this. Like the jeans I’m wearing, this track is tight. Keeping with the metaphor above, there hasn’t been much chainsaw electro on these pages in some time either so turn it up and loosen your pants.
This is a bit mental and the track is worth hearing in the player below just for the live footage. BASSNECTAR knows how to pound bass like frat boys pound beer. Well, actually, he does this much, much better.
Catch him live!

As it turns out, JESSE JAMZ is an assistant to DESIGNER DRUGS, or so I read on twitter earlier today. I’m not exactly sure how that relationship works but his remix of “Drop Down” is diced quite nicely, leaving chunks to chew under the flash of a strobe.
Several months back now, Elite Force ran a little competition on his facebook page asking for suggestions on new tracks to Revamp, with the winner grabbing one of the top-end ‘Revamped’ packages from the Elite Force site and the winning entry came from Ivano Knight who suggested Midnight Juggernauts’ ‘Tombstone’. Well, grab the result below.
The latest single from ELITE FORCE, a collection of three remixes for “Law of Life” is a must-have for anyone looking for something to stomp to. Elite Force himself sums it up best as “battleweapon electro techno filth gnarly bass monster.” I think he forgot breaks, but maybe that’s being redundant.
