Simian Mobile Disco start their North American tour today at SXSW. At least I got to see them perform when Lisa and I were in France. Their live show is incredible. James Ford and Jas Shaw rotate around a pillar of gear, noodling and knob twiddling as if they were in studio. It’s crazy so if they come to your town clear your calendar.

The honeymoon was roses. Well, better than that really.

We got to see Simian Mobile Disco, The Whip, and Turzi - more on that in another post however.

While I was away a pile of stuff came my way. I’ll do my best to share it and the tonnes of other material you should kick out. First of which are Manalogue favourites. streetlab nailed out a bit of a slower number last month. The day my Wife and I left for France Mark hit me up with their remix of Hot Chip’s, One Pure Thought. There’s a subtle contrast in it, with the tranquility of the original all bounced up, the tune could prime dancefloors with a solid bass coat.
