The Global Collaboration EP is the brain child of TIMOTHY WISDOM, hype MC and funk master from Canada’s west coast, and BUSTA, the twisted bass technician from Australia, resulting in four mid-tempo tracks large enough to shake the pants off of any dancefloor. Bombastic Jam, have some serious thunder with this one release. Watch for it, it drops on October 22.
Here are a couple of free tunes from Timothy Wisdom and Busta.
Here’s an ultra-deadly remix from REFRACTURE. The intro’s a bit long, which makes the wumph all that more unexpected, if it weren’t from UK native. Alright then, let’s ‘ave it!
A couple weeks back we were sent this humourous wobble monster too. I’m sure you’ll recognize the sample. (Apologies for the late post – some of you may have heard my wife had our second baby and well, he’s setting the priorities.)
I first heard FAT&EZ back in May and was impressed with his production, but as is often the case I didn’t get around to posting anything from the Scandinavian knob twiddler. I did however play one of his original cuts on THE SHAKE, a weekly radio show LOTEK and I do every Friday.
The lad has been busy over the last few months working on an EP and a few remixes. The EP will be ready soon enough but for now here’s two remixes and the track that was featured on the show. They’re all electro stompers so if you feel like getting sweaty, and like to encourage others to do the same, I’d suggest you get on these.
I appreciate it when artists tastefully blend genres – I suppose that’s what the bootleg movement is all about. Newcomer BIRDEE does this well, keeping enough of the original, but adds some funk flavoured licks to keep his “retweet” intersting. More importantly, it’ll get you moving.
In February, ELITE FORCE releases a landmark album of re-fixes, mashups & re-edits appropriately titled ”RE:VAMPED.” There were some cracking reworks that U&A were unable to get licensed for the album, so they decided they would do a series of free downloads under the ‘PRE:VAMPED’ banner, prior to it’s release. This is the second in the series – a re-fix of the TC/CASPA ‘Where’s My Money?’ has single-handedly kickstarted a dubstepbreaks evolution that only seems natural. This remix of a remix is deadly! Elite Force combines the super powers of wobble and breakbeat dancefloor destroyer. I can’t wait to play this one.

If you missed the “Ghosts N Stuff” refix, you can grab that here.

I don’t know how many times I’ve heard “Ghosts n Stuff” over the past couple weeks. It seems like every time I spark up my iPhone, some version of this tune manages to shake its way into the playlist. Maybe it’s some sort of charmic action for copping out and leaving during DEADMAU5‘ set last week.
Well, here’s one I that’s fresh from Bedford, UK via GASHUPS who blend IAN CAREY‘s “Get Shaky” and well, the smash hit mentioned above into a club smasher everyone will love.
