REVOLVR sent us his latest bootleg and it’s a bit of a stomper. The mashup itself is pretty basic. It’s undeniable though, that this would slaughter just about any dancefloor and it’s due to the moombah breakdown.
The cut had me searching for a moombahton remix of “Internet Friends” since I wasn’t sure if Revolvr tweaked it himself or if there was something out there that was used. A few things came up but the EBORALL remix stood out for a few reasons.
Incidentally, Eborall has an entire moombah set for free download. It’s well worth checking out, despite being out for a hot minute already. (I’m not ashamed to say I’m too busy with a million other things to hear practically anything not submitted to us.)
Oh, and this is quite good too. Check GO BUCK! out for a tonne more.
I think Go Buck! needs a post of his own soon. Maybe if he sees this he’ll send us something.
Oh, and a question for you all – how the did DJ Chuckie’s tune ever top beatport’s charts? This tune is annoying as fuck, don’t you think?
…since we’ve somehow did this mini mega post, we might as well finish connecting the dots, no? I’ll stop here though and let you figure out the link between KNIFE PARTY and PENDULUM.
Seriously, if you’re in London this weekend, get to this party! By grabbing your tickets here, you’ll save yourself £12, so don’t hesitate. (Sorry, discount tickets are sold out.) All four stages look pretty sick – so the only downside to this would be deciding who to watch. Taking place at Clapham Common on Sunday 30th August (no work Monday!), Get Loaded in the Park is your one-stop festival shop, right in the heart of London. No 1 hour treks to the site, no mud, no camping, no re-mortgage plans needed to finance your fun… and just about every electronic genre is covered across 4 stages in the glorious sunshine! (Good weather not guaranteed.)
The lineup for GET LOADED is pretty sick and it keeps getting better. Just thinking about all these djs / producers / etc. kinda makes me giz in my pants. If you’re in London at the end of August, don’t hesitate and grab yer tickets here. By buying your tickets through this link, you save yourself £12 which is an effing steal, especially when considering what you’re getting.
PENDULUM formed in their home-town of Perth (Western Australia) in 2002, when producers Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen teamed up with DJ Paul ‘Elhornet’ Harding. While their individual formative roots ranged from producing drum & bass, breakbeat and hardcore – to playing in metal and punk bands – their comparable talents proved an unstoppable force when they managed to conquer the world of drum & bass in their first 12 months together.
For the last 12 months PENDULUM have retreated to the depths of the underground to work on their second album, and kraft their knob twiddling into live performances. They found that relying only on electronics left something to be desired so they fetched their guitars and combined them with their drum machines and sequencers to produce what some call “an electronic Led Zeppelin,” or “a crunked up Soundgarden.”
