Here’s the forth and final installment of freebees from SHAB RUFFCUT. The two tracks below follow a similar tribal path as the six previous entries on these pages. “Lord” runs deep into the woods with a heavy kick layered under some tight bongos and some subtle horns. “Tonic” takes the tribal journey even further, dare I say, underground. The low-end in this one is balanced nicely with kindred vocals.

Where does time go? It’s been three weeks since SHAB RUFFCUT began his humble offering of some of his back catalogue and we’re finally getting to the latest now. Such is life when you’re (I mean I am) potty training a two-year-old and taking photos of the antics.

Earlier I mentioned that Shab is one of the more diverse producers of late. Well, these next tunes all fit into the house realm with hints of tribal, Chicago, and everything in between. I love them all, but when I heard “Shake It” my mind nearly exploded.

SHAB RUFFCUT has to be one of the most diverse producers I’ve heard. He’s responsible for releases ranging from deep tech to wobbly monsters. He’s shared some of his older releases with us and will be sharing more in the weeks to come so keep watching these pages.
